There are leather chairs to relax in and it also has its own balcony. The ensuite is luxuriously equipped with an oversize  power shower, complete with directable body jets.  This room overlooks the riding school, (hence the name) and has beautiful views of the River Stour and North Downs Way. It has a super king size bed, and can be arranged as either a double or a twin. It is also available as a triple with the use of a comfortable air mattress. There is a television/video, with a selection of videos, radio alarm clock, trouser press, hairdryer, & bath robes & slippers. We provide ample towels, and luxury toiletries etc to make your stay special and a feel of being pampered. We provide a luxury beverage making tray, with tea, coffee, hot chocolate, biscuits, bottled water, a decanter of sherry, and usually homemade cake. The Kingfisher Room Luxuriously decorated with a more traditional feel.  As with "the School Room" this bedroom has a super king size bed, and can be arranged as either a double or a twin. There is a television/video in the room with a selection of videos, radio alarm clock, hairdryer, trouser press, bath robes, to make your stay special and a feel of being pampered. A  brand new ensuite with a shower and  bath. We provide towels, face cloths and shower gel/shampoos etc. There is a comfortable leather settee to sit and relax. Our beverage tray includes;- tea, coffee, hot chocolate, biscuits and bottled water,  & usually homemade cake. The Bluebell Room Over looks the front of the house is decorated in a  simple style.  Accommodating a standard double bed, suitable for one or two guests.  Our beverage tray includes tea, coffee & chocolate and biscuits. Although not ensuite, this room has its own private shower room with ample towels and toiletries. Directions From Canterbury, follow the A28 towards Ashford for 3.5 miles.  You will go past Chartham village on your left, and then Shalmsford Street. Carry on over the brow of a slight hill, where you will see a turning on your right called Shalmsford Lane & signed  to Old Wives Lees.  Go straight on past this turning staying on the A28 for about 250 yrds and we are the third house on the left.  You will see our B&B sign on the left side.  If you go past "Sunny Bank Garage" (on the right) you have just passed us!
